Reselling with markup

Your own provider account on the path, your own price on the invoice.

With BYOK, provider calls are billed to your account at your rate. seams records what the call cost you and what you charged for it, and the difference is the number the console calls margin.

Add the credential once

curl -X PUT https://api.ourseams.com/v1/providers/production \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SEAMS_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "provider": "anthropic", "apiKey": "sk-ant-…" }'

The plaintext is encrypted with a cloud KMS key and only ever decrypted inside the request that needs it. It is never written to any store outside the process, never logged, and toString() on the resolved secret returns a masked value.

Reading margin

Per-user profitability is the number your payment processor cannot give you: it knows revenue, and the provider invoice knows aggregate cost. Only the thing in the path knows cost attributed to one customer.
